As the charitable branch of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Foundation supports programs that offer access to justice, that facilitate civics education, and that promote legal engagement in our communities.

Some of the Foundation’s work includes giving grants and participating in numerous educational and civics projects conducted by local nonprofits, conducting a mock trial program for high school students, bringing the Alabama Appellate Courts to Birmingham to hear oral arguments and supporting programs for jurours including free wifi service in the Jury Room.
